Last night at The Hamilton, the Recording Academy hosted its annual Grammys on the Hill Award celebration, which honored the Library of Congress and Jennifer Hudson.
Jennifer, who also performed a track called “Hallelujah,” was honored with a Recording Artist Coalition Award for her philanthropic efforts.
“It makes it the most prestigious award to be acknowledged for trying to make a difference,” she told The AP. “It’s OK to be a celebrity, but the things that matter are when you can change someone’s life or help someone.”
Clive Davis presented Jenny with the award while Yolanda Adams was also on the program.
